Tameisha Baxter is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience caring for patients in both acute care and outpatient settings. She joined Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute in 2023 as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, bringing extensive clinical expertise and a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Before joining Genesis, Tameisha built a strong foundation as a registered nurse before advancing her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse clinical background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care across multiple settings, allowing her to support patients and families through complex healthcare journeys with skill and empathy.
Tameisha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to delivering evidence-based care while fostering meaningful relationships with her patients. She is a certified first aid instructor and serves as a committee member for the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
As part of the Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute team, Tameisha is passionate about helping patients navigate their treatment journey, promoting quality of life, and ensuring each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Her commitment to clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and compassionate service continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
